Massage Treatments For…
Pain Relief & Injury Recovery
Sore shoulders, tension headaches, and low back pain are more than just discomfort — they affect how you live and move. I use clinical massage techniques like deep tissue work, myofascial release, and trigger point therapy to target the root of your discomfort and help you heal.
Rehabilitation & Post-Surgical Support
Recovering from an accident, surgery, or injury? Massage therapy can help improve mobility, reduce scar tissue, and relieve pain during your healing process. I’m experienced with collaborating with other care providers to support your full recovery.
Stress Relief & Nervous System Support
Sometimes, what your body needs most is a reset. I treatment sessions that focus on calming the nervous system, restoring balance, and reconnecting to your breath and body. These sessions use slower, more integrative techniques and are ideal for clients seeking mental and emotional grounding.
Client Appreciation
“For me, Christine gives a deep muscle massage and it always amazes me that she seems to know the spots that are hurting without me ever telling her where. She finds spots I don’t know I have. I leave feeling like weights have been lifted off my shoulders and my muscles feel loose and relaxed.”
Hi! I’m Christine Lovelace, RMT
I grew up in Langford and graduated from Belmont High in 1993. While studying trumpet at the University of Victoria’s School of Music, I found myself helping friends with the physical strain of practicing — headaches, neck tension, and repetitive stress. Without any formal training, I discovered I had a natural ability to ease pain, and that sparked something in me.
A few years later, I enrolled in the massage therapy program at Okanagan Valley College of Massage Therapy in Vernon. I graduated from the intensive 3-year program in 2000 and have been practicing ever since.
I first worked at Westshore Massage Therapy from 2000 to 2004 before opening my own clinic from home — a little space of calm in the heart of Langford. Clients often call it their sanctuary or special place, and that means the world to me.
Over the years, I’ve continued to deepen my skills through ongoing training in areas like muscle energy technique, prenatal massage, and trigger point therapy. Outside the clinic, you’ll often find me out paddling, hiking, geocaching, or enjoying a great bottle of wine after a long walk.
